AllyRey Photography is now officially Portland Photo Company.

Changing the name has proven to be a little confusing, but well worth it. I've merged with local photographer, Liz Donnelly Photography to form Portland Photo Co. We are seasoned photographers with an eye for stunning modern images.

This little girl was such a sweet little baby. She made us work for these smiles, but we got them! She was just 3 months old when we did this family session for her. But these photos will be treasured for a long time to come. I'll send off the USB drive (an AllyRey Photography specialty) to her family.

This weekend I went to Peaks Island in Maine to photograph some friends in front of an old family house on the island. We had a great day (though chilly) for photos. I loved that there was a story to tell along with this session. I hope to do more like this... storytelling sessions :) Merry Christmas, guys!

Such a wonderful, colorful Fall

I had the pleasure of shooting these two ladies.  9 year old Abby is a model in the making... she had so many ideas of her own about where we should shoot and what she would do. I went with it, because I was once that girl. I hope the people in Abby's life continue to let her shine, and that someday Abby gets into art (modeling, photography or whatever it is that moves her). 

Children should grow up to be whatever they want ed to be when they are 6.  :-)

Newborn Photography is a hard job. Really hard. These little girls wanted to show off their "not-sleeping" skills for us. No worries, we got them fed and happy and sleepy for these awesome shots. Parents don't need to worry, as some of the comforting photos are the best ones from a newborn session! Check out these adorable twins!

Photographing twins was really fun and I'm glad I was able to grab a few shots of them together. All of those shots of twins cuddled together, perfectly posed are what I aim for... someday. I'll take these for now! :)
