AllyRey Photography is now officially Portland Photo Company.

Changing the name has proven to be a little confusing, but well worth it. I've merged with local photographer, Liz Donnelly Photography to form Portland Photo Co. We are seasoned photographers with an eye for stunning modern images.

Newborn baby Logan was 3 weeks new when he came to the AllyRey Photography Studio for his newborn session. He liked the studio so much, he didn't want to sleep. After lots of snuggles, a few feedings and the Pandora Lullaby channel, he let us get some sleepy shots. As you can tell, his parents like hockey and this little guy is destined for skates.

I created our baby registry service so that gift givers could purchase something truly meaningful and memorable for expecting parents.  We’re parents too. I understand that those little bundles of joy grow and change faster than you could have ever imagined.  The gift of AllyRey Photography portraits is one that expecting parents will be able to cherish long after baby has outgrown another set of onesies. This is great for parents who have most or all of their baby things already, or would prefer to have portraits over hooded towels and another outfit.

How it works The Baby Registry is a complimentary service we offer to expecting parents who have scheduled a newborn session.  Once mom and dad have booked a date for their newborn or baby session I will  supply them with all of the information they need

This weekend I went to Peaks Island in Maine to photograph some friends in front of an old family house on the island. We had a great day (though chilly) for photos. I loved that there was a story to tell along with this session. I hope to do more like this... storytelling sessions :) Merry Christmas, guys!
